ADOX RA-4 Kit for Colour Printing

The ADOX RA-4 Kit is a complete two-bath colour print chemistry for the RA-4 process. It works perfectly with the AGO Film Processor and REEL-Paper 5. It includes both the colour developer (CD) and bleach-fix (BX) concentrates, each diluted 1 + 4 with water to create 2.5 litres of working solution.

When used with the AGO Film Processor, you achieve precise temperature control with automatic time compensation and smooth rotary agitation, resulting in clean, vibrant colour prints. The process runs at 35 °C and follows standard RA-4 timing, fully compatible with colour papers such as Fujicolor Crystal Archive or Kodak Endura and other.

Each concentrate—developer (CD) and bleach-fix (BX)—is easy to mix and use. Simply add four parts water to one part concentrate to create 2.5 litres of ready solution. The AGO’s built-in rotary motion keeps temperature even across the entire print surface, ensuring neutral tones and clean whites for every print.

Whether you print from 35 mm, 120 film or large-format negatives, this chemistry delivers repeatable, high-quality results with minimal setup. Each kit processes up to 5 m² of paper (about 100 sheets of 8×10″), making it ideal for home darkrooms, workshops, and studios exploring analogue colour printing.
