Beginner Kit: AGO + Starter Kit for B&W is the most straightforward and complete way to start developing black and white film at home. It combines the clean, efficient design of the AGO film processor with the full set of tools and chemistry included in the Starter Kit—giving you everything you need from day one. Whether you’re completely new to home development or looking for a smoother, more compact setup, this bundle is designed to remove the common obstacles and make the process intuitive and repeatable.
At the heart of the kit is the AGO film processor, which automates agitation and holds a steady temperature throughout development. Its upright, no-pour design reduces mess, saves space, and makes handling chemistry much easier—especially for beginners. AGO fits most standard tanks and is ideal for processing anything from a single roll to a full batch of five reels.

Bought in Oct 2024. Have developed 25 rolls with it B&W and Color Neg mostly B&W 120 very happy with the results. Wish there were more info on results with using different rotation RPM’s other wise very happy.

I like how the AGO wraps temperature compensation, timer and agitation functions together in a compact form. I have developed about 10 rolls of film with the AGO and it has really simplified a lot of the process and freed my hands up to do other tasks while it works

It’s compact which is great. It manages the time compensation of the development for both black and white and colour making managing processing film much easier and removes the element of doubt!
