Leakage using AGO Film Processor

If You Had a Leakage Using Your AGO Film Processor

Here are some solutions to avoid that in the future.

Proper Attachment of AGO to the Paterson Tank

  1. Attach rear stand to tank.
  2. Attach AGO to tank — funnel holes facing down — and press AGO firmly to the tank using your upper body weight.
Alternatively, place the tank on the ground in vertical position and attach AGO, pressing moderately with your bodyweight, ensuring the rubber seal is firmly mounted to the tank. Make sure funnel holes are facing down towards the bottom of AGO.
  3. Place the AGO on a flat surface and you’re ready to start developing.

Make Sure Your Paterson Tank Is Not Broken

Check that your Paterson tank’s red edge is not leaking between the tank’s black side and the red plastic ring.

If you find this to be the problem, you can fix your tank with some superglue or silicone-based glue.
