Kodak Tri-X 400TX 135/36

Kodak Tri-X 400 is the classic black & white workhorse, on the market in one form or another since 1954 and still the reference point most other B&W films are measured against. At ISO 400 it covers a wide range of conditions, from bright daylight to dim interiors, with a tonal response that is forgiving of exposure error.

Grain is pronounced and structured, giving the gritty, high-contrast look associated with documentary and street photography. It pushes well to EI 1600 and beyond, holding shadow detail and gaining contrast rather than falling apart. Compatible with all standard B&W developers. Cold-stored for freshness.
