OptiColour 200 โ 35mm Colour Negative Film (36 exp, ISO 200)
OptiColour 200 is a newly produced, carefully coated ISO 200 colour negative film made in Germany. Based on the NC200 emulsion, it delivers a balanced and naturally warm look suitable for everyday shooting. The film offers a daylight-balanced profile, generous exposure latitude, and an orange-mask base designed for easier scanning and reliable colour correction in home and lab workflows.
OptiColour 200 performs steadily in daylight, mixed light, and general outdoor conditions. Colours lean toward a gentle warm rendering with natural skin tones and slightly enhanced greens and reds. Contrast stays moderate, maintaining detail in highlights and shadows. When scanning, the film responds predictably and produces files that are simple to adjust without unwanted colour shifts.
Because this stock is produced in small batches, minor variations may occur between rolls, but the overall look remains consistent: fine-to-medium grain, a stable colour palette, and dependable sharpness for a 200-speed film. Slight overexposure (ยฝโ1 stop) can smooth tonal transitions and reduce shadow grain.
OptiColour 200 is suitable for travel, documentary work, portraits, and everyday photography. It is an accessible, reliable option for photographers who want a characterful film that performs well in most situations and delivers a classic analogue colour look without excessive saturation.
