AGO Film Processor Firmware Update
Keeping your AGO firmware up to date ensures you benefit from the latest features, improvements, and compatibility enhancements.
Stay notified about new firmware releases
Register your AGO product at www.vintagevisual.eu/support to be notified when new software is available.
Step 1 Download the new firmware
- Go to www.vintagevisual.eu/support
- Under "Software update", download the latest firmware file
macOS users: ZIP message
When unzipping the downloaded firmware on macOS, Finder may show: "Unable to expand 'firmware'. It is in an unsupported format." This alert is misleading -- macOS usually extracts the file anyway.
- Click OK to dismiss the message
- Find the extracted .bin file next to the original ZIP, typically in your Downloads folder
- Use that .bin file in Step 4. Do not unzip the .bin
Step 2 Enable WiFi on your AGO
- On your AGO, go to Settings → Firmware Update
- Enable WiFi Web Server
Need help connecting? See the full WiFi connection guide: AGO WiFi Connection Troubleshooting
Step 3 Connect your device
- From your computer or mobile device, connect to the AGO WiFi network (network name: AGO, password: 12345678)
- Open a browser and type the IP address shown on your AGO screen (usually 10.10.10.1)
Step 4 Update the firmware
- Press the Update tab
- Select Choose File
- Select the firmware file you downloaded in Step 1
- Press Update to begin
- Wait for the process to complete. AGO will restart automatically and apply the update
Step 5 Verify the update
After the restart, go to Settings → Software version to confirm the new firmware has installed successfully.
