Two large format developing reels that work individually or together. Develop RA-4 prints, B&W paper, and large format film up to 8x10 inches using the AGO Film Processor or hand agitation.

Paper5 Developing Reel

Compatible with Paterson 5 tanks and larger. Fits up to 8x10 inch paper or film.

• Develop RA-4 colour paper using the rotary tube method with the AGO Film Processor
• Develop B&W paper without needing trays
• Develop large format film up to 8x10 inches
• Works with both rotary agitation (AGO) and hand agitation

Loading the Paper5 Reel

The Paper5 reel fits into a Paterson 5 tank and holds up to 8x10 inch film or paper. There are two methods for inserting the support part:

REEL 5x7 Developing Reel

Compatible with Paterson 5 and 8 tanks. Designed for 5x7 inch and 13x18 cm format film and paper.

• Develop RA-4 paper 5x7 when used together with the Paper5 reel
• Save chemistry with rotary processing using the AGO Film Processor
• Works with both rotary agitation (AGO) and hand agitation

Minimum Chemical Volumes for REEL 5x7

For vertical agitation, use 1350ml of chemical per reel.

Loading the REEL 5x7

This reel accommodates up to two sheets of 5x7 inch or 13x18 cm film. Insert the sheets emulsion side facing inward, between the two columns, and slide them down. Attach the top holder: push down one click for 13x18 cm film or two clicks for 5x7 inch film. To remove the top holder after developing, place your thumbs in the centre hole and use your index fingers to pull it off.

Using Paper5 and REEL 5x7 Together

Combining the Paper5 outer shell with the REEL 5x7 main body makes it possible to simultaneously develop multiple prints up to 5x7 inches. The REEL 5x7 main body works as an insert that splits the Paper5 inner compartment into two sections.
