Why developing with AGO is super easy
Active Time-Compensation
Just warm up your chemistry — AGO takes care of the rest.

Our Active Time-Compensation feature automatically adjusts development time if the temperature shifts during processing. That means perfectly developed film, every time — without lab-level guesswork.
Automatic Agitation
AGO lets you control how your film is agitated — stick or rotary, fast or slow. Prefer hands-off processing? Use rotary mode and let AGO manage the whole process. Want more control? Stick mode is supported too.
A built-in alarm alerts you when it’s time to act, so you never miss a beat.
Rotary Processing
With horizontal rotary agitation, AGO uses up to 60% less chemistry than traditional methods. That means fewer chemicals to buy, less waste, and a cleaner, more efficient workflow — whether you’re developing one roll or eight.

Compatibility
AGO is compatible with all Paterson Super System 4 tanks — from single-roll to multi-reel setups. You can develop from just one roll of film up to eight rolls at once. Already own a Paterson tank? You can use it with AGO as long as you have the AGO funnel.

Reels for Large Format and Printing
Need to go big? AGO supports 4×5, 5×7, and even 8×10 film reels. You can also develop RA-4 or black & white darkroom prints — right from the comfort of your home setup.

Custom Programs
Everyone’s workflow is a little different — so AGO lets you make it your own. Create and upload custom processing programs from your computer or phone, or fine-tune any existing preset to fit your exact preferences.

It improved my film development so much
It’s compact which is great. It manages the time compensation of the development for both black and white and colour making managing processing film much easier and removes the element of doubt!

I like how the AGO wraps temperature compensation, timer and agitation functions together in a compact form. I have developed about 10 rolls of film with the AGO and it has really simplified a lot of the process and freed my hands up to do other tasks while it works

Features and Specifications
Why developing with AGO is super easy
Active Time-Compensation
Just get the chemical temperature into the range for the start of your development
and AGO will take it from there.
AGO monitors your chemical temperature and compensates development time for any
temperature drop or increase, ensuring perfect negatives with every development.
Automatic Agitation
You maintain control of agitation type, speed, and interval—whether it’s stick or
rotational agitation. Keep in mind that in stick agitation, the time compensation
will not work.
A timely alarm lets you know when it’s time to take action
and change the chemicals or admire the results.
Rotary processing
With horizontal rotational agitation, you can save from 40% to 60% on chemicals
depending on your use case and the size of the Paterson tank you decide to use.
Compatibility
AGO is compatible with all sizes of Paterson Super System 4 tanks. Develop from
just one roll of film up to eight rolls at once. You can use your old Paterson
tank with AGO, provided you have an AGO funnel.
Reels for large format and printing
Use our large format reels to develop your 4×5, 5×7, or 8×10 film, or make RA-4
and B&W prints in the comfort of your own home.
Custom programs
You can easily create your own programs for AGO on your computer or phone, or simply
change any program to fit your liking.
