Keeping Your AGO Film Processor Firmware Up to Date
Keeping your AGO Film Processor’s firmware up to date ensures you benefit from the latest features, improvements, and compatibility enhancements.
Be notified when new software is out by registering your AGO at
www.vintagevisual.eu/support.
Step 1 – Download New Firmware
- Go to www.vintagevisual.eu/support
- Under “Software update”, download the latest firmware.
macOS Users – ZIP Message
When unzipping the downloaded firmware on macOS, Finder may show:
“Unable to expand ‘firmware’. It is in an unsupported format.”
This alert is misleading—macOS usually extracts the file anyway.
- Click OK to dismiss the message.
- Find the extracted .bin next to the original ZIP (typically in Downloads).
- Use that .bin file in Step 4 – Update the Firmware. Do not unzip the .bin.
Step 2 – Enable Wi-Fi Connection
- On your AGO, go to Settings → Firmware Update
- Enable Wi-Fi Web Server

- Open a browser and type in the IP shown on your AGO screen (e.g. 10.10.10.1).
Step 4 – Update the Firmware
- Press on the Update tab.
- Select Choose File.
- Select the new firmware file you downloaded.
